My mother was given the 1964 edition as a wedding gift in 1969. Growing up, this cookbook was a staple in our kitchen! Mom was young, had 2 kids and a husband to feed, and many times, I saw her flipping through the pages, looking for something new to make. We had a lot of wonderful meals from that book! Many of the recipes in this edition are the same. That book lasted for over 20 years, before it fell apart, and got lost when the family moved, right before I got married. Glad to see that I found it here in the archives.

Subject: I love this book
My mother in law gave this book. I love it. Unfortunately it got damaged in a move. I still make the straight white bread but without milk, I use water instead. It never fail and always taste good. I swear this book is all you ever need.
